Practicus is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2035
Practicus stands committed to its ambitious target of achieving Net Zero emissions by 2035. Ever since our founding in 2004, we have held a deep-seated respect and appreciation for the environment, taking proactive measures to ensure its sustainability. This commitment to the environment was formalised in 2010 when we achieved the ISO 14001 accreditation, an international standard recognising our devotion to reducing our environmental footprint. We have successfully retained this accreditation in the years following, a testament to our continued commitment.
We are deeply privileged to be nestled in the idyllic surroundings of Henley, by the tranquil Thames river, which serves as a constant reminder of the responsibility we bear towards our environment. The breathtaking beauty that surrounds us has inspired a heightened consciousness towards our environmental impact, compelling us to look for innovative ways to promote sustainability.
We are diligent in our exploration of technological solutions to reduce our carbon footprint. A prime example of this is our extensive use of videoconferencing for business communication, eliminating the need for unnecessary travel and further reducing our carbon emissions. In instances where travel is unavoidable, we take care to offset the carbon emissions through our partnership with Carbon Neutral, a gesture of our commitment to sustainability.
Our ISO 14001 accreditation is a source of immense pride, but it’s the steps we’ve taken beyond this that truly exemplify our commitment. We’ve taken significant measures to reduce paper consumption and enhance our recycling levels within the organisation. These efforts reflect our belief that businesses should be a force for good, and we strive daily to uphold this belief through our actions. As Practicus moves forward, our promise to the environment remains resolute: we are committed to a future where business and the environment coexist harmoniously.

The production of a Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) is a natural step that complements our environmental strategy.
